• Technical Content: Fipronil 0.6 GR
• Mode of Entry: Contact or Ingestion
• Mode of Action: Fipronil 0.6 GR primarily acts as an ingestion toxicant with some complementary contact action thereby interfering with nerve impulse transmission. It blocks Gamma Amino Butyric Acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels in the central nervous system. Disruption of the GABAA receptors prevents the chloride ions update resulting in excess neuronal stimulation and death of the target insect.

• The recommended dosage of Bayer Regent Ultra insecticide i.e., @ 4kg/acre should be mixed with sand or fertilizer using a hand-operated granule applicator or mechanical dispenser and broadcast uniformly.
• Standing water of 2-3 cm depth should be available in the field, keep water impounded for 2-3 days after application.

• Fipronil can improve the vigor and yields of crops and therefore also the quality.
